Therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating.
It can feel like exhaling for the first time in a while.
Nice to meet you
I’m Stephanie, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 10 years of experience specializing in trauma, anxiety, and helping people who feel stuck finally move forward.
I believe that healing happens in safe, supportive relationships. From the very first session, I strive to create an environment where you feel comfortable being yourself: without judgment, pressure, or expectation.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each person I work with. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all model of therapy. Instead, I meet you where you are, and we work together to understand your experiences, patterns, and goals.
I specialize in EMDR therapy, a powerful and evidence-based approach that can help with a wide range of experiences including: anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, and life transitions. Whether you’re a teen finding your footing, a parent feeling overwhelmed, or someone simply ready to stop carrying what no longer serves you, EMDR may be a meaningful part of your healing journey.

My Approach To Therapy
Healing isn’t about forcing change; it’s about creating the conditions where change can naturally happen.
In our work together, we’ll:
Explore your past and how it may be impacting your present
Identify patterns, thoughts, and behaviors that no longer serve you
Build tools to help you feel more regulated, grounded, and in control
Move at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you
I integrate a variety of approaches, including EMDR, CBT, psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness, and inner child work, which will allow us to both process deeper experiences and create practical, meaningful shifts in your day-to-day life.
Why Guided Trail Counseling?
At Guided Trail Counseling, therapy is about meaningful movement forward.
I work with individuals who feel stuck in patterns they can’t seem to shift, whether that looks like anxiety, overthinking, emotional overwhelm, or challenges in relationships. Many of my clients have insight into their experiences, but are looking for a deeper level of healing and lasting change.
Together, we focus on understanding the underlying patterns shaping your thoughts, emotions, and reactions, while also building practical tools to help you feel more grounded and in control in your day-to-day life.
My approach is especially supportive if you:
Feel stuck despite insight or past therapy
Are navigating life transitions, trauma, or long-standing patterns
Are looking for both emotional processing and real-life change
I integrate modalities like psychodynamic therapy, EMDR, CBT, mindfulness, and parts work in a way that is tailored to you. This allows us to both process past experiences and create meaningful shifts in the present.
You don’t have to figure it out alone, we’ll navigate it together.
