EMDR Intensives
Your healing doesn’t have to wait
Is an EMDR Intensive Right for You?
Maybe you've been in therapy for a while and feel like you're going in circles. Maybe life is finally calm enough that you're ready to face something you've been carrying for years. Or maybe you're brand new to therapy and you want to start with something that actually moves the needle; not just talk about the problem, but work through it.
That's exactly what an EMDR intensive is designed for.
Unlike traditional weekly therapy, where sessions are 50 minutes with days or weeks in between, an intensive gives you extended, uninterrupted time to go deep. No losing momentum between appointments. Just steady, focused, supported work.
You might be a good fit for an intensive if:
You're dealing with a specific event, memory, or fear that feels stuck
You've tried talk therapy but find yourself telling the same story without it losing its charge
You're navigating a major life transition and want to clear old patterns before moving forward
You have a complex trauma history and you're ready for something more immersive
You have limited availability for weekly sessions but want to make real, meaningful progress
Intensives aren't about pushing harder or going faster for the sake of it. They're about giving the healing process the time and space it actually needs, something a 50-minute weekly session often can't provide.
Whether you're just beginning your healing journey or you've been at it for years, there's a format here designed to meet you where you are.
Level 1) Foundation Intensive
Best for: Single-incident trauma, anxiety, phobias, or clients newer to EMDR

3-hour EMDR processing session (includes a 30-minute break)
30-min integration/closing session (within 1 week after)
Total time: 4.5–5 hours Investment: $900-$1000
Need more time? An additional processing day can be added for $600, scheduled within the same week or shortly after.
Level 2) Intensive Package

Format: 2-day block
What's included:
1–1.5 hour preparation & history-taking session (prior to intensive)
Two 3-hour EMDR processing days (each includes a 30-minute break)

Total time: 8.5–9 hours Investment: $1700-$1800
Additional processing days can be added at $600 per day if more time is needed to complete the work.
Level 3) Deep Dive Intensive
Best for: Complex/chronic trauma, C-PTSD, attachment wounds, or clients who've felt "stuck" in traditional therapy
Format: 3-day immersive block
What's included:
Two 1–1.5 hour preparation sessions (history-taking, resourcing, stabilization)
Three 3-hour EMDR processing days (each includes a 30-minute break)
Two integration sessions (immediately post-intensive and 2–3 weeks out) Total time: 13.5–15 hours Investment: $2700-$3000
For clients with extensive trauma histories, additional processing days are available at $600 per day and can be incorporated into your intensive schedule as needed.
Not sure where to start? That's what the consultation is for.
Before anything else, we'll connect for a brief phone call to get a sense of where you are and what you're hoping to work on. There's no pressure and no commitment: it's simply a chance to make sure an intensive feels like the right fit for you at this point in your journey.
If we decide to move forward, the first preparation session gives us even more clarity. From there, we'll talk through which package makes the most sense given your history, your goals, and how you're feeling about the process. And sometimes, after that first conversation, we may decide together to hold off on the intensive and focus on building a stronger foundation first, whether that's through individual weekly sessions or other preparatory work.
The goal is never to rush you into something. It's to make sure that when you do the work, you're ready for it.
Healing doesn’t need to happen in 50-minute increments. Still have questions? Give me a call to see if this could be the right option for you.

More About EMDR
What is EMDR?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy originally developed to treat trauma and PTSD. Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR doesn't require you to narrate your experience in detail or analyze why you feel the way you feel. Instead, it works by helping your brain do what it's actually designed to do: process and file away difficult experiences so they no longer hold the same charge.
At the core of EMDR is something called bilateral stimulation: typically guided eye movements, tapping, or sounds that alternate from side to side. This gentle back-and-forth activation helps the brain reprocess stuck memories in a way that talking alone often can't reach.
The result isn't forgetting what happened. It's that what happened no longer feels like it's still happening or affecting your day to day life.
What can I expect?
EMDR can feel different from anything you've tried before, and that's okay. You won't be asked to relive your experiences in graphic detail. Most people describe the process as moving through memories rather than being stuck inside them.
During processing, you might notice thoughts, feelings, images, or physical sensations shifting as you go. Some moments feel emotional. Others feel almost surprisingly calm. Everyone's experience is a little different, and there's no right way for it to unfold.
What stays consistent is this: you're in control. You can pause at any time, and your therapist is with you every step of the way.
Many people feel a sense of relief, lightness, or shift even after a single session. For others, the changes are more gradual. Either way, the work you do tends to stick; because you're not just talking about healing, you're actually doing it.
You don’t have to figure this out alone.
